Description: | Self-regulation is a key foundation for learning, relationships, and emotional well-being in early childhood. This engaging and practical training equips early childhood educators with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to nurture self-regulation skills in children ages 2-6. Participants will explore how brain development, emotions, and behavior intersect—and leave with proven strategies, routines, and visuals to use in the classroom. Learning Outcomes: * Understand what self-regulation is and how it develops in young children. * Identify the signs of dysregulation and what triggers it. * Explore age-appropriate strategies to support children in calming their bodies and minds. * Learn how to set up a classroom environment that promotes regulation and safety. * Discover calming tools, visuals, and routines that support regulation. |
